Adopt-A-Family Program Launches

On Monday, October 24, Rutgers University's President McCormick announced the official launch of Rutgers Against Hunger's 2011 Adopt-A-Family program.

University faculty and staff on the New Brunswick and Newark campuses will join forces with Rutgers Against Hunger to host the program’s third annual Adopt-A-Family campaign for families in need across New Jersey.

In partnership with 15 social service agencies, RAH will match university volunteers with families in our community. Volunteers are encouraged to help brighten their adopted family’s holiday season by purchasing gifts off of the family’s wish list.
