Rutgers Against Hunger
Rutgers and Nutrition, Food, and Hunger

Whether educating youngsters about proper nutrition as part of 4-H programs, encouraging urban residents to grow vegetable gardens, helping New Jersey farmers to develop crops favored by new immigrants, or assisting families on food stamps, Rutgers is working to address hunger-related issues in New Jersey—and beyond.

At Rutgers, the university's missions of education, research, and service come together in a broad spectrum of efforts to tackle the complex conditions leading to hunger and food insecurity.
